So, it’s snowing..

It’s been snowing for awhile now.. and frankly I don’t know if I’m ready for it. I know that it’s “around that time” and I “shouldn’t be suprised” but, I am. It seems like just the other day I was boozing on the back porch with Bethany and Chris stepping up to the plate with my now famous Summertime Rally. Oh well. Snow. Thanksgiving in two weeks. Christmas in like six weeks.. 2005 before you know it. I guess it’s time to start thinking of a New Years resolution I can break before the end of January..

Here it comes.. 
The first days of a new job

So, I started my new job and on the morning before I went into the office for the first time I had an odd feeling. While getting ready for work I was trying to pinpoint what it was and where I had felt this feeling before. I was putting on my new shoes and shirt, which I had bought for the new job, and it hit me like a ton of bricks! Starting a new job is the exact same feeling as going into your freshman year of high school. You’ve got to figure out what the teachers expect, who is “cool”, where you have to go, etc. Weird.
So, I woke up today and I’m officially unemployed. I start my new job on Monday but for today and tomorrow I don’t have a job and I’m pretty excited about it. Let’s see, so far my first day of unemployment has been pretty action packed: I’ve had some breakfast, watched Springer, Maury, and Springer again.. and now I’m posting in my blog. I think I might run out and get my two errands done this morning so I don’t have to leave the house again for the rest of the day. Now I see why so many people try to make a living being unemployed. Looks like it’s time to hit Dunkin Donuts and the Post Office! Then it’s back to the couch! :)
Towards the end of last week I thought that this Presidential race had driven the will to vote right out of me. However, it’s time to get up and get out there and vote. Too many people have died over the years defending the right for you to do so. So unless you’re a big fat commie get your ass out there and vote!
