Congratulations to everyone out there in Red Sox nation! I’m going to post more tomorrow when I can collect my thoughts. For now, I would love for everyone to post their comments on what may be the greatest sports come back and win of all time. Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s a good year to be a Boston sports fan! Screw 1918!! 2004: Superbowl and a World Series!
Duh duh duh.. duhduhduh.. BOSTON YOU’RE MY HOME!!! :)

This warms my heart. I’ve been a fan since I was 10. Clemens was my hero back then..and Wade Boggs! I loved them when they were on the Sox! I remember watching them lose the 1986 series (when I was supposed to be in bed) and ever since, every year, I have had a glimmer of hope. (like everyone else who’s a fan I suppose)
FINALLY!! WEW HEW! :)
I am so proud and happy for the players…they set such a good example for kids on what it takes to be successful.. to play as a team and not as individuals. Maybe the ‘04 Yankees can learn from it, too.. especially A-Rod.

Well, its been a very UN-Boring year in a very BORING sport. But nah, not anymore – those of us who sat in front of the tube on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and fell asleep with a medium well bbq’d burger in one hand, and a half empty Coors light in the other can only thank God for the Red Sox giving us something warm to feel over this cold upcoming winter. What a great year for Boston.. with the Patriots on there streak of 20, and now the Red Sox – I’m so happy for the state of Massachusetts. Here, in California – I have to put up with Angel fans, and gang banging Dodger fans for 19 years. Ive sat thru Buckner, the Clemons departure, Pedro’s unhappiness – man, its been a long wild ride. I read something on AOL today in headline news that there was a 117 year old Sox fan in the stands at St Louis … he watched the Red Sox win the penant in ‘18 then sit thru 86 years of nothing .. then he experienced this. I can only imagine how that guy feels …
This win just goes to show superstitous people wrong, and firm believers right – all over the states. There are some morals to this story, and some things to live life by.. I’ve gathered a few for you to reflect while I sign off…
There is no I in team ( Entire Yankee squad )
Curse’s are complete crap. ( Bambino )
Never wake a sleeping giant ( Sheffield )
Cheaters never prosper ( A-rod )
Don’t ever test the heart of a champion ( Sox )
When all else fails, grow your hair out.
Congrat’s Boston… keep the grill warm, there is still a pigskin getting thrown around beantown for a few more weeks!
Hamburger Helper helps a hamburger –
make it……………… a great meal!
