Spam has brought a lot of subjects to my attention over the years: The ability to get Cialis, Viagra, Xanax and other prescription drugs without an embarrassing office visit, the savings when buying my drugs in Canada, horny housewives craving my crotch-axe, young teen sluts, hot wet bitchs, lowest mortgage rates available, viruses, internet worms, .. all harmless enough. The problem is the sheer volume of these tantalizing offers that make it into my inbox. Never has this spam problem hit close as close to home as it did today when I received the following email:

Due to crazy spammers… I have retired boobs@skeey.com address. My new address
is blockforspam@skeey.com.

The retirement of an email address that has defined the freedom that a skeey.com address gives you. Gone are the days of people asking you who “boobs” is. Gone are the embarassing discussions between Janneen and co-workers about her husband’s choice of email addresses.
It’s a sad day for the internet my friends. A sad day indeed.
